HSCC Meeting Reminder

Hi everyone,

The December meeting of Highlands Sports Car Club will be this Wednesday, the 10th at Earth Fare in South Asheville. The meeting is held in the community room at the back of the store. Meeting begins at 7pm, please arrive earlier if you plan to eat. THIS MEETING IS VERY IMPORTANT BECAUSE WE ARE ELECTING OFFICER FOR 2009. IF YOU CANNOT ATTEND THE MEETING YOU MAY STILL VOTE VIA EMAIL BEFORE 5PM TUESDAY. To vote by email send a message to m3@highlandssportscarclub.com with the subject line "HSCC Officers" (a list of nominees can be found on our message board). See you there.

HSCC Newsletter: 2009 Officer Nominations and Voting

Hi everyone,

Nominations:
At the November meeting this past Wednesday, the club accepted nominations for club officers for the 2009 season. Because of relatively low turnout, and because we wanted to give everyone a chance to participate, we have decided to leave nominations open for an extra week. If you are a current, paid member of HSCC, you may submit a nominations for any or all of the Officer positions by sending an email to m3@highlandssportscarclub.com with the subject line "HSCC Officers". All nominations must be received by midnight Wednesday November 19th at which point nominations will be considered officially closed. The current list of nominees follows.

Voting:
Current (paid) members may vote in one of two ways: 1) in person at the December 10th meeting, or 2) by email. If you cannot make the December meeting, you can submit your ballot to the same email address listed above after the close of nominations. All email ballots must be received by 5pm on Tuesday December 9th.

Oct. 8th Nite Series clarification

Hi everyone,

Please note that although the MyAutoEvents page lists this event as "Bonus/Non-Points", it is in fact the final (of 5) points events for the Nite Series. The previous autox on September 24th was made a non-points event because of the shortage of gasoline in WNC.
